Has your Estate Plan been reviewed in the last 4 years?
Do you have a Current Last Will and Testament?
Do you have a current Will which names custodians for minor children?
Have you authorized someone to handle your financial matters if you become disabled?
Do you have a Durable Health Care Power of Attorney?
Is your Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care signed after July of 2000?
If your estate (including your home) is valued over $100,000 do you have a Living Trust?
Do you have provisions in your Trust or Will for payment of estate taxes?
Have you made provisions for gifts to charities of your choice?
Have you designated how your personal effects will be distributed after your death?
If you answer "Yes" to any of the below questions, it is time for a review of your Estate Plan:
Do you want to change your beneficiaries?
Is your Living Trust named as a beneficiary under your IRA or 401(K)?
Has there been a change in the value of your estate (the value of all you Own)?
Has there been a change in the nature of your estate (the value of all you Own)?
Have you recently married or remarried?
Have you divorced?
Has a child or grandchild divorced?
Has a child or grandchild died?
Have you or your spouse become physically or mentally incapacitated?
Do you have an incapacitated child or grandchild?
Have you refinanced your home or other piece of real property?
Have you bought or sold a house or other piece of real property?
Are you contemplating selling stock or other assets with a low cost basis?
Have you moved between states?
Do you have life insurance with cash value?
Are you concerned about long term care if you become incapacitated?
Are you worried about being sued?
Are there any other circumstances, which may have an impact upon your documents since they were originally prepared?
